The New Holland T4 has scooped the ‘Best Speciality Tractor of the Year’ accolade at the Agritechnica show.

The criteria for selection included the engine, transmission, comfort, agility and design. On top of that, New Holland has upgraded the T4 with its renowned Terraglide front axle suspension to deliver a remarkably smooth ride. There’s also the option of Trelleborg PneuTrac tyres for enhanced traction when working on hillsides, as well as improved fuel economy.

The Terraglide system allows the operator to control the suspension height, adjusting ground clearance according to the conditions and the height of the front implement. Even when working on a slope the tyre never comes into contact with the tractor. Automatic ride height control ensures that the full suspension stroke is always available, even under heavy load. Axle roll control further adds to the tractor’s stability and safety.

It all adds up to a tractor that’s perfect for the specialised conditions encountered in narrow and wide vineyards, cultivation in restricted spaces and hill farming on steep slopes.
